My Life in Dominica
I went on a field trip to Cold Soufriere for school and the teacher said the water is hot. Then we felt the water and it was cold. the water was bubbly because the pressure is pushing out air. It smelled like rotten eggs. Some people fell in, the got soaked.

There is a lot of caterpillars here, the ones that we have seen have stingers on one end. We don't know what the stingers are for.
I have learned how to play cricket. There is two people at an end and they both have bats and the bats look like boat oars except for one and it is a long triangle thing. And there is a couple sticks that you stab in the ground and there are things that go on the sticks, this is called the wicket. The batters are in front of these. There is someone who throws the ball and is called a bowler. Then there are people that stand out and if one of the batters hit the ball then these people can catch the ball and try to hit the wicket. The batters have to run and try to get to the other side. There is a person called a keeper and they catch the ball and then they throw it back to the bowler. It is a lot of fun.
One of my two front teeth is finally growing in, the other one is almost ready to come in. My teeth have been missing since before Christmas last year. I'm happy my teeth are coming. Yesterday another tooth fell out, but I lost it in the chair cushion and can't get it out.
I made a video and mom put it on youtube.

The Crab!
I got pinched by a horse shoe crab on my shoe and it went through and pinched my toe. We were on a beach and I was in the water with my dad. My dad was chasing the horse shoe crab and then it pinched me instead of dad! I got on my dad's leg and he told me to get down. We were at Key West when this happened. I got out of the water and had my mommy look at my toe, it was ok. It scared me and it hurt a little.

I rode on my dad's back and I think I freaked out when I was at the side where I would drown.

Everglades
Today I went to the Everglades. There is tons of alligators there.
One was so close that we could go touch it but we didn't. We didn't touch it cuz it could have snapped our hands off or ate us in one gulp.
There are also tons of vulchers there circling in the sky waiting for somebody to die. We weren't allowed to have food and drinks on the path but the sold food and drinks like pop and water at the building. They had benches and tables. We saw a giant bird in a nest.
We saw tons and tons of fish but they moved fast so I couldn't see some of them. We saw some fish go under the bridge. And there was a turtle in the grass, he moved pretty fast and one in the water, he moved pretty slow and he went under the bridge and that was the last time I saw him.
